What Is A Project Entropia Cent?

A Project Entopia Cent is usually referred to as a PEC. It represents 1/100th of a Project Entropia Dollar. Hence why it is referred to as a cent. It functions in the same way that a Project Entropia Dollar would only with a fraction of the value. Being able to distinguish between the two is important considering the large difference in value.

What Does A PEC Look Like?

PEC look very similar to PED. They are both represented by a stack of coins. Project Entropia Cent’s are silver colored. This makes them easy to distinguish from PED. This also makes them look more like traditional coins. This helps reinforce the idea of the value being a fraction of a PED.

What Are Project Entropia Cent’s Used For?

There are times when you need a fraction of a PED to complete a transaction. This is where Project Entropia Cent’s become important. A 1.5 PED purchase would require 1 PED and 50 PEC. Project Entropia Dollar’s and Project Entropia Cent’s combine to make the virtual currency of Entropia Universe.

Remember that a PED is 1/10 of a US Dollar. It takes 100 PEC to make 1 PED. This means that micro transactions can be incredibly accurate. Even more accurate than we can be in real life. This also means that 1 PEC is worth 1/10th of a US Penny.

How Do I Use PEC?

PEC work much like PED. You can create a stack based on the exact number you want. You can create a stack as small as 1 PEC. This is usually done for micro-transactions. If I purchase a weapon for 75 PEC I create 1 stack containing 75 PEC. Having this stacking functionality avoids the need for many denominations of coins.

People often overlook how important Project Entropia Cent’s can be. They don’t have considerable value. Not in game or in real life. Because of this people tend to focus on PED.
